Supreme Court rules that Atiku can cross-examine Maurice Iwu at the Elections Petition Tribunal

The Supreme Court of Nigeria today ruled that former
Vice president Atiku Abubakar should interrogate INEC
Chairman Professor M. Iwu and that Iwu must answer all the questions to be put to him by Atiku on the last Nigeria general elections, results of which  Maurice Iwu declared in favor of Umaru Musa Yar'adua.

Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in area 3 earlier rejected the request which Atiku is challenging the victory of  Yar'adua. Atiku then headed to Supreme Court to overrule court of appeal, which today was in Atiku's favor.
