The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified Senator Iyiola Omisore, chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation through the instrument of the party's Electoral Appeal Panel set up to look into complaints of members regarding party primaries across Nigeria.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified Senator Iyiola Omisore, chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation through the instrument of the party's Electoral Appeal Panel set up to look into complaints of members regarding party primaries across Nigeria.
The panel subsequently ordered fresh primaries in Osun East Senatorial district due to a petition filed by Prince Francis Fadahunsi, who contested against Mr. Omisore at the primaries.
