From the foregoing analysis, a total number of 116,129 registered voters spread across 25 wards were disenfranchised. This number of voters if cast defiantly could sway the pendulum in the direction of any of the contesting parties/candidates. From the scores available so far, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 85,365 while the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) scored 102,313 in the Delta Central Senatorial Election. The difference between the two top most contending parties stands at 16,948 in the Senatorial Election and 12,494 in the house of representative election. It is therefore believed that the aforementioned number of voters who were disenfranchised would make enormous difference if their votes are allowed to count.

In the light of the above, we are calling on the Chairman Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare as inconclusive the election in the Delta Central Senatorial District and Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency and call for a re-run as the relevant laws demand.

Signed,
Delta Central PDP Stakeholders

To: Attahiru Jega

Chairman,

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),
