Tribunal Upholds Uduaghan's Rerun Election Victory In Delta

Despite weeks of election ballot scrutiny by forensic experts at the Delta state election petition tribunal and desperate efforts by the Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, to abort today's ruling in  Asaba, election petition tribunal  judges ruled today that Mr. Uduaghan was "validly" elected during the January 6th 2011 re-run elections.

Despite weeks of election ballot scrutiny by forensic experts at the Delta state election petition tribunal and desperate efforts by the Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, to abort today's ruling in  Asaba, election petition tribunal  judges ruled today that Mr. Uduaghan was "validly" elected during the January 6th 2011 re-run elections.

Last week when it appeared that the ruling might not favor him Mr. Uduaghan dashed to the federal high court in Asaba to obtain a judgement which claimed Mr. Ogboru was not qualified to run in the election in January in the first place, however, the tribunal rejected the high court ruling.

Several sources told our reporters that Mr. Uduaghan relocated to Abuja to "work on the judges" before today's ruling.
