The Nigerian house of representatives today passed a motion suspending the removal of fuel subsidy at an emergency session in Abuja. The motion was passed just as President Goodluck Jonathan was launching some buses for mass transportation aimed at ameliorating the pains of deregulation of the downstream sector of the oil industry by the federal government.
