Boko Haram Beheads Three in Maiduguri

Just as it did two weeks ago when it beheaded seven persons for allegedly betraying some of its members who were killed by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Maiduguri, members ofJama’atu Ahli Sunna lid Da’awati wal Jihad, known as Boko Haram, on Saturday night beheaded three more persons in the same area.  They also shot and wounded others.

A source told SaharaReporters that the three dead persons were slaughtered at Ungwan Wal-Maiduguri, close to Kasuwan Shanu.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, added: “Three people were slaughtered like ram and I saw them with my own eyes.  The soldiers on arriving last night also killed two persons. A man and his wife were also killed in another shooting.”

The area is reported to be in confusion, with many residents taking flight.
