The public relations officer of the Kaduna state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Lawan, told Saharareporters that the police had to shut off the area to protect the public after traders in around the Sultan Bello Mosque entrance alerted the bomb squad to a suspicious package suspected to be an improvised explosive device.
