"Boko Haram" Kills Secondary School Teacher in Kaduna, Burns Down Fourth School In Maiduguri

The suspected sect members trailed Benjamin Francis few minutes from his duty station at Government Secondary School in the densely populated Rigasa area in kaduna city.

According to his friend Joseph Kuyedah Alhassan, who posted the photo of his mangled carcass on Facebook, Francis was gunned down and people he referred to as "Muslims" came and butchered him with knives in broad day light. The school principal was also injured as he attempted intervening to secure Francis life.

“They just killed him and did not take anything from him, and so it is clear they are not armed robbers. He had a wife and two children, in fact the newest baby is just a month old”, he stated upon further question on his Facebook page.

The death, he said has created uncertainty in Angwan Romi in Kaduna State, Nigeria where he resides as youths there were threatening reprisal attack.

The killing of the school teacher in Kaduna follow the an attack on a school buildings in Maiduguri by the Boko Haram militants. The latest attack was visited on Gomari Costain Primary School in the restive city. The latest attack, the fourth on a school in two weeks, destroyed classrooms and the headmaster's office.
