Reacting immediately, our source said that members of the JTF raided Hotoro quarters, where a gun battle ensured, leading to the four members fell to the superior firepower of the official forces.  There was no report of any deaths or injuries on the federal side.

“Four terrorists were gunned down when JTF operatives raided the terrorists hide out in Hotoro, while some arrests were also made,” JTF Spokesman, Lt Ikedichi Iweha, said, confirming the operation.

Describing the raid as “successful,” Lt. Iweha said such operations would be continuous, and that whenever the task force receives an intelligence report of the activities of the terrorists, it will respond swiftly.
