UNILAG Vice Chancellor Dies After Heart Attack

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Babatunde Adetokunbo Sofoluwe has died after a heart attack which occurred during a university meeting. Professor Sofoluwe had a cardiac arrest during the university council meeting and later died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Idi-Araba, Lagos.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Babatunde Adetokunbo Sofoluwe has died after a heart attack which occurred during a university meeting. Professor Sofoluwe had a cardiac arrest during the university council meeting and later died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Idi-Araba, Lagos.

Professor Sofoluwe was 62 year old. He is an alumni of the University of Lagos with a graduate degree in Computer sciences. Prior to his death, Prof. Sofoluwe had also served twice as the head of the computer science department and also as the dean of the faculty of sciences at the university.
