Motorbike operators in Lagos today pushed further in their showdown with the Lagos state government, led by the organized pro-labour movement, Joint Action Front [JAF], motorbike operators popular known as "okada riders" defied police's attempt to thwart their protest a second time, after their protest was restrained last Monday.

Motorbike operators in Lagos today pushed further in their showdown with the Lagos state government, led by the organized pro-labour movement, Joint Action Front [JAF], motorbike operators popular known as "okada riders" defied police's attempt to thwart their protest a second time, after their protest was restrained last Monday.
Several JAF activist were later arrested by the police and detained at the state police command headquarters in Lagos.
