Confirming the invitation to our correspondent, Zakari said he would present himself before the House as a law abiding citizen. He has, however given two conditions: that the sitting must be done openly and the press allowed to cover it; and that a representative of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) must also be present, as only medical personnel who best understand the code of ethics of the profession can truly point out if and where the code has been violated.
“I spoke with the President of NMA recently and he said I should be praised rather than be crucified,” he added.
Governor Suntai, who was in a plane crash last year, is still in hospital in Germany, reportedly with serious brain injuries
