PHOTONEWS: Stranded Air Passengers At The Lagos Airport As Two Airlines Close Shop

 Air passengers remain stranded at theMurtala Muhammed Airport in  Lagos on Monday as two airlines shut down flight since last week. The  Nigerian aviation authorities  "temporarily suspended" the licence of  Dana airline last week Friday after an incident in Abuja according to an  aviation source.

 Air passengers remain stranded at theMurtala Muhammed Airport in  Lagos on Monday as two airlines shut down flight since last week. The  Nigerian aviation authorities  "temporarily suspended" the licence of  Dana airline last week Friday after an incident in Abuja according to an  aviation source.

Also, the Aero Contractors had shut down since  last week due to industrial dispute with workers of the airline. Several  employees of the airline were arbitrarily sacked over the weekend leading  to protests by the aggrieved workers on Monday.

Another set  of photos in this stream came from the scene of an armed robbery attack  at the same airport last week. Two policemen were killed in the attack.
