Gov Dickson’s Aide Kidnapped

The Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Power, Engr. Olice Kemenanabo, was kidnapped today in Rivers State by three unidentified gunmen.
Family sources told SaharaReporters on Sunday in Yenagoa that Kemenanabo was snatched shortly after he left a church service in Port Harcourt at about 1:30 p.m.

The Special Adviser, who is also the Managing Director of Bayelsa Electricity Company, was whisked away in his own car, a Toyota Avensa with registration number A27-12BY, by the three men who threatened to shoot him if he resisted.

As of the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Mr. Kemenanabo remained unknown, as the abductors had not contacted any family member.
Police sources in Rivers and Bayelsa States both claimed ignorance of the crime.
