The statement, signed by Mr. Osita Okechukwu, National Publicity Secretary, CNPP, said four years ago when Jonathan replaced President Umaru Musa Yar'adua, people counseled the new president about the Chief's arrogance, greed and lack of discipline.
The resignation, or firing, of his Chief of Staff comes when questions are being raised by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi about trillions of missing Naira from the Federal Account from crude oil sales by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
Last week the Nigerian Senate Committee on Finance began hearings based on claims made by the CBN Governor; those will continue this Thursday.

The CNPP said in its statement it had called for an open and independent investigation into the extent of Chief Oghiadomhe's involvement in the NNPC scam and asked the President for transparency over the reason for his exit.
And the CNPP asked if Nigerians could pardon and re-elect President Jonathan if he makes such poor political judgements of allies and associates.
