As it stands the NFF has two presidents, considering acting president Umeh is still in his capacity.

Reinstated Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) president, Aminu Maigari, says “there is no victor and no vanquished," as he returned to the Glass House today to complete his turbulent tenure at the helm of Nigerian football.

FIFA’s Deputy Secretary General, Markus Kattner, in a letter to the NFF last week said that the sacking breached several statutes and must be reversed with the reinstatement of Maigari.

Maigari was earlier today accompanied to the secretariat by suspended Board members Christopher Green and Ahmed Fresh. Also in his entourage was Secretary General Musa Amadu, who was reported to be playing double agent.

Maigari resumed to resistance from the Executive Committee led by Acting President of the NFF, Chief Mike Okeke Umeh, saying his impeachment was an outcome of a distinct process and if he must resume, certain protocol has to be followed.

This bone of contention is the main agenda at tomorrow’s high level meeting between the N=Minister of Sports, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, and the NFF to find a solution to the problem. As it stands the NFF has two presidents, considering acting president Umeh is still in his capacity.
