Nigeria got its first goal in the second minute through Dike, who entered the tournament’s history books earlier in the group stage as the fastest-ever scorer.  The semi-final then became the Oshoala show as she scored in the 24th minute, and three more in the 60th, 68th and 85th.

Nigeria led 2-1 at the half, DPRK getting its first goal through R. Un Sim in the 31st, and another through a penalty by J. So Yon in the 62nd.

Nigeria’s powerful and growing offensive prowess in the women’s game will be put to the test in the final on Sunday against the winner of the second semi-final between two European powers, France and Germany.
