Two Peoples Democratic Party Senators will likely dump the ruling party in coming days according to feelers from the Nigerian upper legislative arm.

SaharaReporters confirmed that former PDP National chairman, Senator Barnabas Gemade representing the Benue North East zone at the Senate as well as Khalifa Ahmed Zanna a Senator representing Borno Central of Borno State at the Nigerian senate would likely jump ship and join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next few days.

Senator Gemade is miffed that President Goodluck Jonathan has pitched tent with the current governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam to unseat him from office.

Senator Zanna has reportedly indicated that the security of his people in Borno is of paramount importance claiming that the current government has not done enough to protect the people of his senatorial zone from rampaging Boko Haram militants.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has already decamped to the APC to realize his ambition to become the Governor of Sokoto State. Mr. Tambuwal would likely send the house on an early christmas recess to avoid an immediate impeachment by forces loyal to President Jonathan.
