House of Reps. Postpones Resumption Of Recess To Allow Members To Participate In Primary Elections

The postponement is attributed to a revision of the House calendar to accommodate representatives to participate in their parties' upcoming primaries.

In a statement today, the Nigerian House of Representatives announced the postponement of resumption of recess from Wednesday Dec. 3, 2014, to Tuesday Dec. 16.

NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT OF RESUMPTION FROM RECESS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
 
This is to notify Members of The House of Representatives that the resumption of the House from recess earlier scheduled for 3rdDecember 2014 has been postponed.
 
The House will now resume on Tuesday  16th December, 2014 at 10am.
 
The Leadership of the House of Representatives took note of the adjustment in the calendar of the political parties and took the decision for the postponement to allow Members of the House participate in the forthcoming Primaries of their political parties.
