Former minister of information, Labaran Maku, and seven others were defeated during yesterday’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election.

Mr. Maku was beaten to a second place by a little known politician, Yusuf Agabi, at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa venue of the primary election.
The primaries election supervised by former Senate President Adolphus Wabara saw Agabi garnering 214 votes to defeat Labaran Maku scored 160
