SaharaReporters received information from a very credible source forecasting likely victories for both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in gubernatorial elections.
The most significant of this information is that the PDP seems on course to secure victories in the Gombe and Plateau gubernatorial contests. The information, from a very credible source, also stated that the PDP is expecting to win governor contests in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Rivers, and Taraba States—information which reinforces commentary by a number of analysts and news outlets in Nigeria.
PDP’s performance in Gombe State is notable considering President-Elect Buhari’s performance during the presidential races two weeks ago.
Projections from this same source says that APC will likely win governor races in Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Sokoto, and Yobe States.
