The xenophobic attack against Africans living in South Africa stands unreservedly condemned.The xenophobes of South Africa are gangs of demented thugs ungrateful to the historical contribution of other Africans to the liberation of South Africa from Apartheid colonialism.South African xenophobes are Anti African reactionaries and counter revolutionaries.They are vestiges and residues of apartheid rule.
The perennial attack on Africans by Africans in South Africa is disgraceful,shameful and odious.The perpetrators of those acts of violence represent an evil force against African unity,solidarity and future.Its intolerable and unacceptable that our citizens living in South Africa becoming targets of gangsters,murderers and hopeless hoodlums.The xenophobes represent a thick stain of shame on the image of South Africa and of Black people the world over.If black Africans are not safe in black Africa where else will they be safe.
The South African government and the generality of South Africans must proactively move against xenophobes to save the image,honor and prestige of their country.Those who subscribe to xenophobia in South Africa undermine the country's moral status globally and jeopardize the country's economic interest in Africa.
South African leading multinational firms are heavily present in Telecom,Banking,Insurance,IT,Construction,oil and Gas,Mining Cable TV and many more sectors;xenophobia threatens the existence and growth of these companies.
The xenophobic violence in South Africa is a wake up call for the incoming administration of President Elect Muhammadu Buhari to firmly protect Nigerians where ever they chose to live.President Buhari should lead an African initiative to eradicate xenophobia and xenophobes as well as protect Black people world wide from racial abuse,discrimination and humiliation.The African Union must stand up to this violence and South African multinational companies must do more to neutralize xenophobia and all it represent.xenophobes must be profiled,targeted,punished and sanctioned with a travel ban.
