At Least 60 People Killed In Borno State In Separate Boko Haram Attacks

At least 60 people were killed, including women and children, during separate attacks on two Borno communities by Boko Haram, residents said.

Fati Bulama from Bale town said ''we have suffered more than enough from Boko Haram, all our husbands and growing sons are either killed or forcefully taken away. More than 20 people killed in Bale and if you go to Kayamla many people were killed.

''I have vowed not to go back even if hungry, I will starve me to death and rather die in Maiduguri than to go back to Bale‎.''

Bagana Kolo said, ''I have lost everything to Boko Haram, my house, two wives and younger brothers. I fled into the bush if not, I would have been shot by Boko Haram, Many people were killed in Kayamla.  As I am speaking with you Kayamla is deserted,'' he disclosed.  

Meanwhile, Borno State Deputy Governor Umar Zanna Mustapha told newsmen that Boko Haram has recaptured Marte town and hundreds of females suicide bombers are said to have entered Maiduguri to carry out suicide missions.

SaharaReporters gathered that the military has relaxed the curfew imposed last Wednesday in Maiduguri after Boko Haram attempted to invade Giwa Barracks. The residents can now go about their business from 8am - 5pm.
