Following two suicide bombings linked to Boko Haram Terrorists which killed 34 and injured 100 more, Chad has arrested at least five suspects and banned the use of burqas.
The two attacks on Monday were the first attacks of this kind in Chad carried out by Boko Haram terrorists. They took place at a police station and a police school in the capital city N’Djamena. It is believed that they are in retaliation for Chad’s role in leading an offensive against the rebels.

“Even the burqas for sale in the markets will be withdrawn,” Prime Minister Kalzeube Pahimi Deubet said while meeting with religious leaders on Wednesday.
