The meeting will be held on Thursday at the the Imo Lodge, Asokoro, in Abuja.

The APC has been marred by political crisis, which worsened when an APC faction joined with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the Senate and secretly voted APC Senator Bukola Saraki in as Senate President. A similar action was taken in the House of Representatives with Yakubu Dogara voted in as Speaker of the House.
