Pilot Saves Pilgrims From Major Air Disaster

Spokesman for Max Air Ltd., Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, told SaharaReporters on the phone that the pilot aborted the flight because he noticed some abnormalities in the engines.

A pilot with Max Air Ltd. thwarted what would have been a major disaster involving a plane full of pilgrims at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Kebbi State.

The incident occurred during takeoff when the pilot noticed that one of its engines was not “powering very well.”

Spokesman for Max Air Ltd., Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, told SaharaReporters on the phone that the pilot aborted the flight because he noticed some abnormalities in the engines.

Mr. Dahiru said after the pilot reported the issue the management of the airline immediately sent another aircraft to convey the pilgrims.
