SaharaReporters learned that the first set of suicide bombings took place at Ajilanri cross near a mosque. The second blast occurred not too far from this same mosque.

A member of a vigilante group told our SaharaReporters correspondent that ''a female suicide bomber was waiting for the worshipers to enter but it's seems the prayer was delayed. She then blew herself up.”

A source at State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri said ’’we have received more than 35 victims from the scene, but the details are still sketchy.’’

The second set of twin bomb blasts occurred between 9:24 and 9:29pm this evening. It was not immediately clear where the explosions took place, but residents have confirmed these developments.
