Earlier today SaharaReporters reported that the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) adjourned embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki's trial to November 5th and November 6th to allow the Court of Appeal deliver its judgement on Mr. Saraki's application to stop the proceedings at the CCT.
The prosecution counsel informed the tribunal that the Court of Appeal could not provide its ruling by October 19th as originally scheduled. Last week an expose by SaharaReporters forced the Court of Appeal to abandon its original plan to stop the corruption trial of Mr. Saraki.
