During the screening Senate President Bukola Saraki asked Mr. Lokpobiri about his priorities should he be nominated as a minister.  Mr. Lokpobiri stressed the need for empowered citizens to educate the Senate on environmental rights regarding the Niger Delta.  The former Senator then promised to never bring disrepute to the Nigerian Senate or the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

After answering these perfunctory questions he was then asked to take a bow and go.
