EFCC Adversary George Uboh For Fraud Trial In Abuja

The trial of George Uboh, who himself accuses the leadership of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of diversion of over N1 trillion in recovered funds, will continue on Thursday at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Mr. Uboh, who is being tried by the same EFCC on three counts of fraud, will appear before Justice S.A Aladetoyinbo to open his defence.

According to a recent report, Mr. Uboh is being tried for criminal conversion of property belonging to the Police Equipment Fund. Mr. Uboh previously spent nine years in prison in the United States for credit card offences.
