A mild drama broke out at the Government House in Kano State today when politicians loyal to former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and supporters of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje began brawling with each other following Governor Ganduje’s negative comments about Kwankwaso. Kwankwaso supporters were also reportedly frustrated that many of them were not included in Governor Ganduje’s administration.

Mr. Kwankwaso supporters were also reportedly frustrated that many of them were not included in Governor Ganduje’s administration.
The fight caused gridlock around the second main gate of the Government House as security locked it in an attempt to control the fight within its vicinity.
A source told our correspondent that the incident embarrassed Governor Ganduje, who observed the fight from the CCTV feed directly connected to his office. The source also said the situation was seen by guests meeting the Governor.
A quick intervention by the security deployed at Government House quelled the ordeal between supporters of the incumbent Governor Ganduje and those of the former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
