Officials from the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) are busy gathering polling results from units across Kogi State, SaharaReporters has learned.
According to INEC sources, most polling units across the State have completed voting exercises without major incident. SaharaReporters has also learned that commercial and pedestrian activity has normalized in many parts of the State with many residents in Okene and Lokoja operating their shops and filling stations now selling fuel.
It is hoped that with the 239 E-collation centers across the State that voting tabulations will be speedy, but ultimately the authority to collate and declare winners belongs to INEC.
SaharaReporters has also received photos of a collation center in Kogi State.
