A suicide bomber killed at least 7 people in a transit camp in Maiduguri, Channels TV is reporting.
The attack was allegedly carried out by a woman, who was among those evacuated to Borno State capital from the Dikwa Local Council.
The evacuees were being screened before their placement in one of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Maiduguri. According to Channels TV, the attack also wounded three officials of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
Thus far, no group has officially claimed responsibility for the act, although Boko Haram is widely believed to be responsible.
