On Wednesday, it was announced that the new acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) will be Shettima Bukar-Abba.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the new acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) will be Shettima Bukar-Abba.

The announcement was made by Chucks Okoli, the Deputy Director of the Planning and Strategy section of the commission to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Mr. Bukar-Abba will be replacing the recently deceased Muhammad Bello Akali, the former Executive Chairman.
The new Executive Chairman was previously a Federal Commissioner representing Borno State.
