Sadly, one pastor, Anthony Anto who had been sick was found dead in the forest, a development that brought a mixture of joy and sadness to the members of the Church.

The clerics who were collected in a forest along Kaduna-Abuja expressway are presently admitted in a clinic undergoing medical check up. Another source close to the freed clerics said a ransom was paid to their abductors.

All attempts to officially confirm if ransom was paid by the church and security agencies was unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.
