Saraki's Lawyer, Yusuf Ali To Launch Book Titled "Anatomy Of Corruption"

Yusuf Ali (SAN),  a leading member of two separate legal defence teams in corruption cases involving the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Mr. Rickey Tarfa, is set to launch a book on corruption. An invitation to the event sighted by SaharaReporters shows that the launch is slated for May  17, 2016. 

The invitation reads: "Yusuf Ali (SAN) humbly requests the pleasure of your presence at the Public Presentation of his book-'Anatomy of Corruption in Nigeria'-holding on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja at 10 am prompt."

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the further invitation reveals, is the chief guest, while the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, will preside over the event. Nobel laureate, Professor  Wole Soyinka, is named as the guest speaker while Professor Ademola Popoola will be the book reviewer. The invitation ends with a plea and phone numbers for enquiries.                                                                                                                        "Please be punctual. Mr. Ali, an Osun State indigene spent most of life in Ilorin in Kwara state. He is one the 90 lawyers defending the Senate President against charges of false assets declaration before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, a source on Saraki's legal team claims that his law firm contributes up to ten lawyers each during Saraki legal trials. He is also one of the 34 lawyers defending Mr. Tarfa (SAN), the lawyer accused of bribing judges to obtain favorable rulings. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is currently prosecuting Tarfa for bribery and obstruction of justice.
