A fire has destroyed property valued at least N2 million in Mudiga village, Miga Local Government Area (LGA), of Jigawa State.

The damage includes at least ten grain silos containing mainly guinea corn, millet, rice, and beans. Other damage includes house utilities and livestock.
The local government caretaker committee chairman, Muhammad Maigari, who sympathized with the victims, expressed shock over the disaster.
Represented by the local government secretary, Baban-nan Murabis, the chairman promised the local government support and assistant to the victims.
