Legendary Boxer Muhammad Ali Is Dead

 Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali has died in a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

 Ali has been in hospital since Thursday over a respiratory issue. Yesterday the boxer had to be placed on life support as his condition worsened.

As a statement by his spokesperson, Bob Gurnell revealed that Ali died on Thursday evening at the age of 74.

 Born “Cassius Clay Jr.”, Ali changed his name to Muhammad Ali around 1964 according to a Wikipedia entry.

 Ali was born on January 17, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky. He is survived by 9 children including five girls and two boys.
