President Muhammadu Buhari departs for London UK earlier today to seek medical treatment for an "ear infection."
President Buhari, who was seen off by personal staff, ministers and military officials at the President Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, addressed the press before leaving ostensibly to assure Nigerians that his condition should not be cause for worry.
President Buhari is expected to be back in Nigeria in ten days.
