Federal High Court Remands Jonathan's Cousin Azibaola In Prison Custody

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered Azibaola Roberts the cousin of the Former President Goodluck Jonathan to be remanded in Kuje prison till 8th May (Wednesday) when the court will rule on his bail application. Justice Nnamdi Dimgba gave the ruling today after Roberts was formally charged with money laundering by the Economic and Finacial Crimes Commission.

However, the judge allowed Mr. Azibaola's wife to keep enjoying her administrative bail from the EFCC. 

Azibaola is standing trial for alleged financial fraud and diversion of $40million public funds through the account of One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited, which belongs to him.
