Niger Delta Militants Blow Up NPDC's Oil Facility

An oil facility of the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), which is situated at Ogidigben area of Warri in South West Local Government Council, Delta State has been blown up by some suspected Niger Delta militants.
Reliable sources revealed that the attack was carried out yesterday night along the Chanomi Creek at Ogidigben area of Warri.

According to the sources, "we were informed from the field that a loud explosion was heard at the location yesterday night and subsequently followed by a huge ball of fire." The pipeline located between Ogidigben and Ajudaibo was blown up by a group of militants reportedly operating out of Tebi community near Oporoza in Warri-South West LGA of Delta state.
