Dino Melaye Shows Off Customized 1958 Model Vintage Cars

Senator Melaye owns a controversial garage of exotic and luxury cars estimated at costing billions of Naira.

Senator Dino Melaye on Monday showed off two vintage cars, a Mercedes Benz 190 (1958 Model) and a Hindustan Ambassador, used for his security aides to the Sheraton Hotel Abuja, venue of a colloquium on the "Legislature-Executive Relationship in this 'Change' Era." 

The first of the cars, which served as a pilot, had a police orderly and the Senator’s aides. The other, which carried the customized number plate "KOGI DINO 10," drove Mr. Melaye and another police orderly.

Upon arrival, the Senator asked his drivers to park the cars where they would command public prominence.  

Senator Melaye owns a controversial garage of exotic and luxury cars estimated at costing billions of Naira. The former anti-corruption fighter also in the past few years in Abuja acquired a palatial mansion valued at N1.3 billion ($US6.5 million)

The first time Nigerian Senator has 28 of these expensive cars in his garage with a mobile house he has shown off recently.                                           

Earlier this year, Mr. Melaye posed inside a 2015 Slingshot which was estimated to cost about N4.78 Million ($24,000) when he visited the National Hospital Abuja when the former Minister of State for Labour and Productivity James Ocholi died in an accident.

Among the other guests at the event today were Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekeweremadu, Speaker of the House Yakubu Dogara, and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
