Two Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Kill 9 in Maiduguri

At least 9 people have been killed and 24 others seriously injured when two explosions rocked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital on Saturday morning.

The first occurred when a young man disguised as women stormed a Civilian JTF checkpoint attached to the Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons camp and blew himself up along with 2 others.

A second suicide attack took place in front of NNPC depot along Damboa Road in Maiduguri where a lone suicide bomber on a tricycle killed 3 others.

The Borno state PRO for Civilian JTF, Dambatta told Saharareporters that 9 people were killed and 24 other sustained critical injuries.[slideshow]49871[/slideshow]
