Nigerian Customs Intercepts 661 Rifles In Lagos

According to Comptroller General Hameed Ali, the rifles were concealed in steel doors in a 40-foot container being transported by a Mack truck.

The Nigerian Customs Service announced on Monday that its Lagos State Command intercepted a truck carrying 661 illegal pump-action rifles along Mile 2 Apapa Road.

According to Comptroller General Hameed Ali, the rifles were concealed in steel doors and boxes in a 40-foot container being transported by a Mack truck. He told reporters in Ikeja that three suspects have been arrested.
