Judge’s Ikoyi House Gutted By Fire

Our correspondent reported that the fire began at around 2:40 p.m. and Lagos State firefighters arrived at the scene at 3:28 p.m.

A house on Kalabari Close in Ikoyi, Lagos belonging to Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court was razed by a fire on Monday.

Our correspondent reported that the fire began at around 2:40 p.m. and Lagos State firefighters arrived at the scene at 3:28 p.m. By the time the firefighters arrived, however, the first floor of the home had already been gutted by the fire.

The Lagos State firefighters said they did not receive an emergency call, but they noticed smoke billowing from the area and responded accordingly.

Federal firefighters then arrived at 3:54 p.m.
