The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) appointed Roland Ewubare as the new head of the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS) on Tuesday as part of the NNPC’s ongoing restructuring exercise.
This was announced on Tuesday in a press statement signed by Ndu Ughamadu. He said that 55 top management staff were affected in the reshuffling.
Mr. Ewubare previously served as Managing Director of Integrated Data Services Limited. His former position will be occupied by Diepriye Tariah.
The NNPC also announced that Malami Shehu was appointed Managing Director of the Port Harcourt Refining Company after serving as Executive Director of Operations of the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company. Adewale Ladenegan, former Managing Director of the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, took over Mr. Shehu’s former position.
Muhammed Abah, former Executive Director of Operations at the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, was promoted to Managing Director of the same company.
The NNPC also announced the retirement of Farouk Ahmed as Managing Director of the Nigerian Products Marketing Company (NPMC). Umar Ajiya, former Group General Manager of Corporate Planning and Strategy, will take over Mr. Ahmed’s position. Mr. Aliya’s former position will be taken by Bala Wunti, former General Manager, Downstream, at the Group Managing Director’s office.
Other new appointments include Usman Yusuf, who will serve as Group General Manager to the Group Managing Director, and Adeyemi Adetunji, who will serve as Managing Director of NNPC Retail alongside Bola Afolabi, who has been appointed head of Research and Development at the NNPC.
Ahmadu-Katagum was appointed Group General Manager (Shipping) in the Downstream Autonomous Business Unit and Kallamu Abdullahi was appointed Group General Manager of the Renewable Energy Division in the Downstream ABU.
The NNPC also noted that Shaibu Musa was promoted to Managing Director of the NNPC Medical Services Limited and Ibrahim Birma was named Group General Manager of the NNPC’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Division.
