America's Got Talent Kechi Is Special Guest At AFRIMMA Awards 2017

Organizers of African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) announced that Kechi Okwuchi, a Sosoliso crash survivor, will be a special guest at this year’s event, taking place in Dallas, Texas, on October 8, 2017.

It will be Kechi's first official outing since she mesmerized many on America’s Got Talent with her mind-blowing performances.

“Kechi is set to be at the AFRIMMA 2017 Awards & Music Festival. This would be her first engagement after leaving the America’s Got Talent competition where her musical talent earned her worldwide acclaim,” said Founder/ CEO of AFRIMMA, Anderson Obiagwu. 

“The star singer who is one of the two survivors of the infamous Sosoliso air crash has mystified the world with her talents. Come see her at the House of Blues, Dallas at AFRIMMA 2017 Awards & Music Festival,” Mr. Obiagwu announced on Tuesday.

Notable Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth and Kenya-born East African rave comedian, Chipukeezy were also announced as the co-hosts of AFRIMMA 2017.

It will be Basketmouth's fourth time in a row headlining the award show.

According to Mr. Obiagwu, this show is going to be the best, which is going to showcase a combination of the West and East African helmsmen, and a host of other performances and side attractions on the night.
