There are indications that governors elected on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), Tuesday has thrown their weight behind President Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential candidate of the party in 2019.
The governors noted that there is no other person that deserved the ticket to occupy the number one position in the country and fly the flag of the party other than Buhari.
Some of the governors who spoke to the journalists before the commencement of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja at the party secretariat includes: Kebi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu and Plateau State Governor, Solomon Lalong; who said that the achievements of the president within the three years were visible enough to campaign for him for another term in the office.
They noted that President Buhari has performed creditably well and deserved another term.
The meeting is still in progress as at the time of filing this report.
