Friends And Family Pay Tribute To Bilyamin, The Son Of Former Chairman Killed By His Wife

Friends and family of Bilyamin Bello the son of a former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP)  on Thursday night in Abuja paid him the last respect with glowing tributes and encomiums at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.

The mourners who appeared in black tops converged in their numbers in memory of the deceased who ought to be 37 years old today. The mourners also used the occasion to mourn those who have lost their lives to domestic violence.

One of the close friends of the deceased, Ahmed,  who spoke at the event said that Bilyamin was a generous young man who gave him a substantial amount of money to build his house in Abuja. He explained that he has been living in a rented apartment for several years when the deceased decided to borrow him money and even gave him the privilege to pay back till year 2020.

He described him as magnanimous, charitable and God fearing friend who have positively impacted his life. He said that his death was a rude shock adding that he would not be forgotten in a hurry because of his kindheartedness. 

Others described him as an immaculate and devoted muslim who is committed to doing good for others.

Bilyamin was stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda, last week following an argument that ensued after she picked his phone and saw messages from other women.

The Nigerian police has filed a murder charge against Maryam bordering on culpable homicide for killing her husband and she was arraigned earlier today and remanded in prison custody.
