Aspirants at the Elective National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) has flared up against a list called the ' Unity List' being circulated at the venue of the convention.
The list contained the names of the aspirants who would eventually emerge as the winner of the contest. It was gathered that the River State Governor, Nyesom Wike is the author of the list after he bribed delegates with a huge amount of money.
One of the Chairmanship aspirants, Raymond Dokpesi, while addressing on the development said, that some group of delegates brought a list to him that those behind the list directed to vote for all the aspirants whose names appeared on the list.
He explained further that he quickly approached and notified the Chairman of the Convention, Ifeanyi Okowa who promised to look investigate strange list.
Dokpesi therefore called for the cancellation of the convention, adding that the process had been compromised as delegates had been bought over by some individuals within the party.
Also some of the delegates described the convention as charade and ruse meant for formality and public consumption.
Many delegates were seen discussing the motive behind the list and expressing worry and reservation of the credibility of the outcome of the election.
